United Sikhs Supports Defrauded International Students

Hundreds of international students from India are caught in the middle of a fake offer-letter scam in Canada. They are facing a likely deportation from the country after their documents for admission to colleges and universities were found to be forged. The students were duped by fraudulent education consultants in India.  When they applied for permanent residency, Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) notified them that they were subject to deportation because of the forged documents. An unspecified number have been sent deportation notices. The students are holding an indefinite protest next to the CBSA office against the deportation orders.
